Colorinche's rules
Colorinche is a map made by everyone who goes out looking for color. To keep it a pleasure to explore, here's what belongs and what doesn't.
What belongs
- Photos you took yourself, of something colorful you saw in person.
- Things anyone can see from the street or a public place: facades, doors, murals, buses, flowers, hand-painted signs.
- The place where you took it, or an approximate one if you'd rather not share the exact spot.
- A title and description that say what's in the photo.
What doesn't
- Images made or edited with artificial intelligence, and photos that aren't yours.
- Recognizable people without their permission, and minors in any case.
- Inside other people's homes, license plates or anything that could help locate someone.
- Nudity, sexual content, violence, weapons, drugs or anything illegal.
- Insults, hate or mockery aimed at people or groups.
- Advertising, spam or the same photo more than once.
How we look after the map
- Every photo goes through an automatic check before it shows up. If there's doubt, it waits for a person to look at it.
- If the file says it was made by artificial intelligence, it can't be published.
- Anyone can report a photo. With 3 reports it's hidden until we review it.
- Each color hunter can leave up to 20 photos a day.
- If we remove one of your photos, we let you know.
Terms of use
- Your photos are still yours. By publishing them, you give Colorinche a free, non-exclusive permission to show them on the site and share them on its social channels, always with your alias or as anonymous.
- You can delete them whenever you want. From your gallery or the photo's page. They disappear from Colorinche right away; for safety we keep a hidden copy, used only if there's a complaint or a legal request.
- We look after your data. The published photo carries no hidden data. For safety we separately keep, without showing them, the connection and camera details for 90 days. If you post anonymously, your name isn't shown to anyone. The full detail is on the privacy page.
- We can remove anything that breaks these rules. If it keeps happening, we can also close the account.
- If you're under 14, use Colorinche with your family's permission.
- Colorinche is offered as is. We do our best to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee it will always be available.
